Den Haag, September 15, 2022 - Pertamina-assisted SMEs products were sold out at the Tong Tong Fair 2022 in the Netherlands on September 1-11, 2022. Even though the exhibition is ongoing, the products were already sold out.

Indonesian Ambassador for the Netherlands, H.E. Mayerfas, expressed gratitude that the Tong Tong Fair was held after being postponed for two years due to the pandemic. "This is my first experience after being assigned as Ambassador in the Netherlands. I am pleased to see the enthusiasm and response of busy people who ran out of tickets," he said.
Mayerfas also welcomed the Indonesian SOEs participating who brought MSME products under their guidance. "This needs to continue to encourage MSMEs to Go Global and have competitiveness," he concluded.
At the Tong Tong Fair in 2022, the Indonesian Ministry of SOEs participated by opening the SOE Roemah pavilion, which facilitated the SOE-assisted MSMEs in Indonesia.
Pertamina was present with 175 types of superior products from various cities in Indonesia, including Yogyakarta, Balikpapan, Dumai, Banjarmasin, Pontianak, Lampung, and Tomohon, Sulawesi. The products, including fashion, handicrafts, and food, are selected through a long process after being curated with quality and levels criteria that must follow the global market needs.
"I am proud that the Rubik Balado product can pass curation to the Netherlands. It will make the city of Duri Riau proud, which previously did not have regional specialties product," said Diah Novi Wulandari, owner of Dapur Bunda Duri, which has been a Pertamina assisted MSME since 2020.
Diah, who now employs more than 15 employees and involves more than 70 MSME partners in Duri City to run the Dapur Bunda Duri business, did not expect her products to attract Den Hague people and surrounding areas. The product were sold out in less than a week.
In addition to the Rubik Balado product, the Godhong Print eco print product also has a place in the hearts of the visitors of the 2022 Tong Tong Fair. "I never dreamed of Godhong Print products participating in the Tong Tong Fair in the Netherlands," said Endah Hariyani, owner of Godhong Print.
Ecoprint Print Godhong is an environmentally friendly handmade product using natural dyes to print patterns from leaves by manually sticking them until patterns appear on the fabric. Using leaves from various plants as patterns and natural coloring gives an exclusive impression because no product will have the same design.
Fajriyah Usman, Vice President of CSR & SMEPP of Pertamina, said the Tong Tong Fair 2022 has succeeded in gaining success since two weeks ago.
“The fostered partners provide quality local products withhigh artistic and cultural value. We get a lot of visitors with significant sales numbers. All visitors seemed to enjoy the product offerings and were enthusiastic about the lucky dip draw we gave," she said.
Fajriyah hopes that the 2022 Tong Tong Fair can accommodate Pertamina's MSMEs’ hopes and aspirations, as well as encourage the independent spirit to become strong and professional entrepreneurs.
In collaboration with the Trade Attache of the Indonesian Embassy in the Netherlands, Pertamina's UMK products are also currently on display at the House of Indonesia. The Trade & Investment House was created as a one-stop shopping platform that displays everything about Indonesia, from products to information that European business players are looking.
"This promises a great opportunity for MSEs to expand their overseas marketing reach," Fajriyah concluded.
