Strengthening Business, Pertamina Launches Integrated Licensing Digitalization

Jakarta, August 29, 2024 - PT Pertamina (Persero) has officially launched an integrated licensing digitalization dashboard that plays a crucial role in strengthening the company's business. Through this digitalization, Pertamina now has integrated licensing data, simplifying the decision-making process, strengthening existing businesses, and even opening opportunities to develop new businesses.

"In business processes, there is always a licensing process, compliance with environmental regulations, and adherence to safety aspects. With a solid system, there will be no gaps in the licensing process, from mapping and data set standardization to alerts if any licenses have expired," said Wiko at the Integrated Licensing Digitalization Dashboard inauguration in Jakarta this week.

According to Wiko, integrated licensing digitalization can display up-to-date data on licenses across the Pertamina Group. "This integrated system also provides management with the ease of decision-making by presenting analytical data related to the operational feasibility status of installations, basic licensing status, and other relevant data," Wiko added.

This integrated licensing system is implemented across the Pertamina Group and will be routinely monitored.

The Director of Oil and Gas Program Development of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Mirza Mahendra, praised Pertamina's innovative steps in supporting the government's strategic plans.

"With support from related institutions, Alhamdulillah, Pertamina has fulfilled the basic licensing requirements, particularly in the downstream sector, and continues to the upstream sector," said Mirza.

Mirza hopes Pertamina will continue to collaborate in building a sustainable licensing ecosystem and coordination communication forum to support services and supply national energy security for the Indonesian people.

Attending the inauguration were the Head of the Environmental Instrument Standardization Agency of the Ministry of Environment, Ary Sudijanto, and the Director of Oil and Gas Program Development of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Mirza Mahendra.

Pertamina, as a leading company in the energy transition, is committed to supporting the Net Zero Emission 2060 target by continuously promoting programs that directly impact the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement.
