Support the 2022 G20 Indonesia Presidency, Pertamina Supplies Avtur for Delegation Representative Aircraft

Solo, November 17, 2022 - As a form of support for the G20 Presidency event in Indonesia, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Central Java Region through the Adi Soemarmo Aircraft Refueling Depot (DPPU) distributed Avtur for G20 Presidency delegates' aircraft. Avtur filling was given to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) delegation aircraft on Monday (14/11).

Area Manager Communication, Relations & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Central Java of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Brasto Galih Nugroho, explained the Avtur filling for the UAE delegation's plane at Adi Soemarmo Airport, Solo, was for the President of the UAE, Mohamed bin Zayed, when he visit and inaugurate the Sheikh Saleh Grand Mosque in Solo, carried out with the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.

"We undoubtedly support the G20 event and are always ready to distribute energy, including Avtur for aircraft that are attending. We are filling up four UAE delegation planes of 74 KL from November 12 to 15, 2022," he said.

As an international event, Avtur needs are one of the priority services. Pertamina Patra Niaga on the G20 is always ready to serve Avtur needs for representatives of the G20 countries' delegations aircraft, as well as general passenger aircraft.

"The Avtur distribution process by DPPU Adi Soemarmo from the Aircraft Filling Depot to the airlines has gone through very strict quality control. Thus, Pertamina guarantees fuel quality used by the G20 delegation aircraft and other commercial aircraft," said Brasto.

Brasto added that the Adi Soemarmo DPPU has storage tank of 900 KL and is supported by four refueller cars with a capacity of 25 KL and one refueler car with a capacity of 16 KL. In support of this activity, all facilities from the Adi Soemarmo DPPU will be operated 24 hours during the G20 Indonesia Presidency activities.

Moreover, Adi’Soemarmo's DPPU manpower has also been certified by related agencies, including Pertamina Aviation Competence Education (PACE) from the Pertamina Aviation Quality Assurance (QA) Center, Refueling Defueling Truck (RDT) from the Ministry of Transportation for the HubUd section, Certification of Special Engineering Workers (STTK) A from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources PPSDM section.

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Central Java Region will continue to coordinate closely with airlines, Angkasa Pura, and several related parties to ensure the Avtur service process runs smoothly.**
