Targeted Subsidy Program Applicants Reaches More Than 220 Thousand Vehicles

Jakarta, July 24, 2022 – Pertamina Patra Niaga, Sub Holding Commercial & Trading PT Pertamina (Persero), appreciates the public for participating in the Targeted Subsidy Program by registering at the registration counter at the petrol station/specified location, online at subsiditepat.mypertamina.id, or via the MyPertamina app.

Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Irto Ginting, explained that the registration process is still ongoing. As of July 23, more than 220 thousand vehicles have been registered. "From this total, almost 80% of the vehicles registered are types of vehicles that consume Pertalite, while the rest are subsidized diesel users," added Irto.

Irto continued that people who register their vehicles in the Targeted Subsidy Program are not only limited to cities or regencies whose registration period has officially opened, but from all provinces in Indonesia. Seeing the high number of registrants from all regions, Pertamina Patra Niaga some time ago expanded the registration area to 50 cities or regencies.

"Seeing the support from the community in realizing a more targeted subsidized fuel distribution, Pertamina Patra Niaga will gradually continue to expand ​​the Targeted Subsidy Program area. This expansion is accompanied by system readiness evaluation and readiness in the field in determining which areas will carry out the Targeted Subsidy Program," he explained.

In order to make it easier for the public to register their vehicles, Pertamina Patra Niaga also continues to ensure field readiness with a direct registration booth. This direct registration booth is to help and facilitate public access to register, come directly, and will be assisted in filling out data and supporting documents.

"So, there is no need to worry. The direct registration booth will still be provided to make it easier for people who do not have cellphones or internet access. Those with phones can go directly to the subsiditepat.mypertamina.id website or the Subsidi Tepat menu on the MyPertamina Application. Fill in and upload the required documents," added Irto.

Pertamina also reminded the public that registration for the Targeted Subsidy Program is still open. Purchases of Pertalite and Subsidized Solar are still as usual, and there are no restrictions. In the future, the Targeted Subsidy Program will be synergized with the regulation of subsidized fuel distribution determined by the government.
