Jakarta, April 26, 2023 - As part of efforts to secure energy supply during the Eid al-Fitr return period, on the first day of work after the holiday, PT Pertamina (Persero) immediately monitors the readiness of fuel, LPG, and gas for the needs of the Eid 2023 return. Pertamina's Board of Directors, with the Subholding Board of Directors, directly monitored the readiness at the Pertamina Integrated Enterprise Data and Command Center (PIEDCC) at the Pertamina Head Office on Wednesday morning (26/04).
PIEDCC is vital in monitoring the distribution process and the availability of energy supply during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period, including during the return period. On this occasion, President Director of Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, stated that the monitoring is carried out to ensure the smooth operation of all Pertamina's processes.
"Today at PIEDCC, I am monitoring directly to ensure fuel, LPG, and gas supply readiness especially for Eid return. We ensure that there are no obstacles in supply, then we also maintain our inventory, and all of Pertamina's assets operate with excellent performance," said Nicke.
During the visit, everything was ensured to be well-prepared from upstream to downstream. Nicke conveyed that all of Pertamina's subholdings have worked together to prepare the energy needs during the exodus period.
"So we ensure that the Eid return can be well-managed, just like last time. We have prepared everything from upstream to downstream. In addition, Pertamina also provides additional facilities by providing a comfortable resting place for travelers to anticipate fatigue," explained Nicke.
Nicke added that overall, during the Eid al-Fitr mudik and exodus period of 1444 H, Pertamina has successfully managed and fulfilled the community's energy needs.
"From all the data we monitor at PIEDCC and the evaluation results, Pertamina has managed the supply well and has successfully met the needs of fuel, LPG, and gas during the mudik period. Both along the mudik route, in the homecoming destination areas, and in tourist areas," said Nicke.
In addition, Pertamina also prepared the energy needs for disaster-prone areas. These crucial points are the priority, both in the readiness of gas stations and stock monitoring. It is to avoid an increase in queues of the community.
Nicke expressed gratitude for the contribution of Pertamina's officers and the synergy between functions and all subholdings that have worked well during the mudik and exodus of 1444 Hijriyah.
"Thanks to all officers from upstream to downstream, who are always standby, operating all of Pertamina's facilities, so that service to the community can continue," Nicke concluded.
