Jakarta, March 8, 2023 - PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK), subsidiary of PT Pertamina International Shipping Integrated Marine Logistics Sub Holding, has entered a strategic partnership with Go Marine Group Pty. Ltd. (GMG), a marine services company from Australia.
This strategic partnership was marked by the Memorandum of Understanding signing for the Nautilus Project on February 28, 2023. The cooperation covered the PTK-GMG business development project with a merger and asset acquisition scheme to operate 11 Offshore Support Vessel types for business expansion in the upstream market segment.
"PTK plans to carry out merger and acquisition activities for prospective strategic partner companies through the Nautilus Project, one of which is with the Go Marine Group," said the President Director of PTK, Nepos MT Pakpahan.
He explained that this was Integrated Marine Logistics Sub Holding's unlock value program to accelerate new businesses development through market expansion with strategic partnerships.
The cooperation signing was carried out by the President Director of PTK, Nepos MT Pakpahan; CEO of GMG, Garrick Stanley; and CFO of GMG, Woodrow Wunsch. The signing was also witnessed by the Director of Business Planning of PIS, Wisnu Medan Santoso.
"It is hoped that this MoU will spur us to work more closely towards a common goal," continued Nepos.
"Go Marine Group is ready to support after this MoU," said Garrick. "We all know that the upstream market currently has very good potential. We hope this process can be completed this year.”
The Nautilus Project is a strategic partnership between PTK and GMG initiated and monitored by PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS).
Director of Business Planning of PIS, Wisnu Medan Santoso, advised that in the next 60 days, it should be continued with a process of data readiness, openness, and discussion.
“Currently, we need capabilities that can be supported and carried out by the Go Marine Group. This will be the first inorganic investment for PTK, and we hope it can be completed this year," said Wisnu.
