Pertamina Attains a Medium Risk Level with a 20.7 ESG Rating for 2023

We are proud to announce that PT Pertamina (Persero) has been recognized as a global leader in the Integrated Oil & Gas Subindustry for our outstanding performance in the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects. According to the ESG Risk Rating by Sustainalytics Institute, we have achieved an ESG Risk Rating of 20.7, which places us at the 1st position among 24 companies in our subindustry and at the 5th position among 309 companies across all sectors.

This rating also indicates that we have a Medium risk level of facing a material financial impact from ESG factors. Compared to last year, we have improved our ranking from 7th to 5th place globally.

The ESG Risk Rating by Sustainalytics evaluates how well a company manages the ESG issues that are most relevant and material to its industry. It provides a quantitative and comparable measure of a company's ESG performance and risk exposure.
