Overview

PT PLN (Persero) is a state-owned company engaged in the electricity sector. operate the power plant up to transmit to the public in all regions of Indonesia.

PT PLN (Persero)  fuel demand is currently the biggest among the industrial sector which is served directly by PT Pertamina (Persero), operational fuel supply to PT PLN (Persero) is supported through 97 Fuel Terminal owned by PT Pertamina (Persero) spread from Sabang to Merauke.

Fuel supply to PT PLN (Persero) has been  stranded since the company was established and even for certain locations, the supply of fuel between TBBM PT Pertamina (Persero) with a power plant of PT PLN (Persero) is connected using a pipe.

Equally the state companies that provide services to the general public in the energy sector, PT Pertamina (Persero) and PT PLN (Persero) both have a strategic role to support economic growth in the country and also secured certain situations such as support for the supply of fuel when public holiday, State Events, International Events or on other important activities that uninterrupted power supplies.
